Lilacs 2021

Lilac season at Florage Farms has been in full swing, and sometimes I wonder if lilacs bloom so exquisitely because they’re also so fleeting. Nothing gold (or purple-ish) can stay. The entire farm has smelled heavenly this past few weeks, and I decided that lilacs are definitely one of my favorite flowers. (I think I say that about a different flower every week.) Some of the bushes at Florage Farms are over a decade old and they have unique double layers of petals. It has been so fun to watch our florists create such magnificent bouquets with our lilacs. I already can’t wait for lilac season next year!
